Today was my first run in a very long time. I've been smoke free for over 3 months. Battling a few mental health demons. He's to new beginnings 👍🏃‍♀️

Wow, smoke free for three months is absolute brilliant. Congratulations! And congratulations on starting c25k too. It’s a great programme and there’s lots of support here. Really good luck to you.

Congratulations to you MG36 on not smoking for 3 months and starting C25K with run 1 of week 1, well done and welcome to the forum, take all the runs slowly, you can repeat any runs or week's if you wish to, drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration, no running on consecutive days as that could cause a injury, good luck for your running journey with C25K, onwards and upwards to run 2 of week 1, if you wish you can report your progress on this forum, we are all here to help.

Hello hello 😀good to see you here. Being smoke free is the best isn’t it? running is equal best too, 3 months is great, just keep running and those demons will fade away Keep smoke free and you will run more comfortably, I know because I ran a couple of years while smoking and I no longer struggle with breathing,
