Well done to you vTired on running with your 6 months old baby in a running buggy, I see plenty of mothers running with their child in a buggy at parkrun on a Saturday morning, there is a lady in Scotland who runs sub 20 minute 5K's pushing a buggy at parkrun.

PS, yesterday that lady ran a parkrun in a time of 17.10. with a age grading of 87.9%, I am not sure if she was pushing a buggy, perhaps not as her child is around two years old, still an amazing time for a woman in the 35/39 age catorgary, last year she came first in four different parkruns consecutively.

Welcome to the forum and well done on your decision.

Plenty of people run with babes in buggies but please be kind to yourself and don't push too hard. Life is exhausting enough for a new mother without adding on running.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5....

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.

I saw one once with a double buggy! As I ran past, I asked if he had barcodes for all of them yet.
