Graduated at last! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

Well I finally did it! It’s taken a while as I have had to miss weeks due to a knee injury and COVID, but I was determined to do it!

I have to say today's β€˜graduation run’ was not easy. I made two mistakes: Firstly, I set off far too quickly and half way through, I wasn’t sure I was going to finish the run. Secondly, I decided to try a route that I hadn’t run before and it really threw me - I didn’t realise how much I relied on the familiar landmarks along my usual route. I know it’s not a bad thing to vary your route but today was not the day to do it! It definitely made it harder.

Thanks to everyone on this platform for motivating me with your own stories, and especially to those of you who have given me advice and support along the way - you have all been brilliant!

Well, this is it...just the beginning... go and get that badge and then...you have no idea where this running will take you to... just like that new route! x
