Not taking anything for granted. This is the 6th or 7th time I've attempted the C25K over the last ten years but never made it past W4 before picking up an injury.

Maybe this time... just maybe...

First of all well done for coming back here the 6th or 7th time but who’s counting the main thing is you are doing it. I know many times I’m told stretch before and after and it makes a big difference. Take the runs nice and slow not many of us on the program or afterwards get to 5K in 30 mins it’s not about the kms it’s about finishing the program running 30 mins.

Keep posting and you will receive all the help and motivation you need to get through this. Dedicate your runs to family or friends who are here or who have passed this keeps you going too.

There are also some great links to various things about stretching, breathing etc etc on the forum remember and check them out. 6 more runs to go.

Your badge is waiting for you let’s do this…..

There are no “maybe’s” - Now is the time!

Thanks for your support and guidance. I agree that the 5K in 30 minutes is probably going to be a challenge so my target is to run for 30 minutes non-stop and then I suspect the 5min warm-up and cool-down walks are likely to take me beyond 5K. That said I did look up on that there Internet and it appears the 5K World Record for someone of my age (65) is 16:35 so there's a target to aspire to... 🤣

Well done with your persistence and progress !And on to the penultimate week .

Keep it slow and enjoy the rest of the programme.

See you at the finish line (Or is it the starting post) 🤔😁
