Off the IC after 7 weeks. Had a nasty trip and smashed my ribs. Doc said you don't bounce to well at 75 so no running for 6 to 8 weeks. I split the difference and had 7 weeks. So this morning I got back out there fully intending to do week 1 of c25k but when I started running I realized how much I missed the running so I kept going for 25 mins. Feeling ok a few hours later so no harm done except a smug smile. I know its going to be awhile till I can bang out a 10k in 1hr 12 again, it seems to be the journey that keeps me going.

Wow well done you I was 6 weeks off after a trip fractured big toe. I still cant get back to 5k let alone 10, so a massive well done 👍
