25 mins! No way!

Started my W6R3. As soon as started running the heavens opened and I thought ‘Oh no is this going to make it even harder’ After a small confidence blip i ploughed on thinking hard core runners run in the pouring rain, just don’t give up. After the halfway bell the sun came out again and I felt great my legs were just doing it! I even managed to pick the pace in the last 60 secs as suggested by Jo.

Last 5 min walk and one of my fave songs played and I literally cried tears of happiness that I did it. Just hope it looked like my wet hair dripping in my eyes! This programme is amazing. 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️

You're definitely a hard core runner now then! Well done. I managed it yesterday, couldn't believe it either! 🤯

Bloody brilliant! I've just done W7R1 which was fine. We are all roughly at the same stage. Go us!!

You’ll learn to like running in the rain. It keeps you cool. Just choose quick drying fabrics as standing about in wet clothes after you’ve finished might be less fun. But if plan your route to finish near home so you know there’s a hot shower and dry clothes waiting, the actual run in the rain is nothing to fear. You know the trick about stuffing wet running shoes with newspaper so they dry quicker?
