Hello,

I was wondering if anyone uses the first run in week one for interval training after graduating c25k?

Welcome to the forum.

I presume that you have graduated, in which case you might find this FAQ Post about post C25k running helpful healthunlocked.com/couchto5... in which we recommend that consolidation at 30mins/5k (whichever you achieved during the plan) until that becomes very comfortable BEFORE working on speed or distance.

If you browse through the FAQ Posts healthunlocked.com/couchto5... you will find basic information on a whole host of running topics, including getting faster, which may be of interest. That particular post explains fartlek, which is probably a much more appropriate method for a new runner to build pace.
