I know I should believe it but I still don't quite believe it. I started running 9 weeks ago whilst in isolation with COVID which lasted 13 days. Had to do something. As an overweight child I hated running so used to hide until the end. Being an overweight adult also had pitfalls. So 7st 9lbs of weight lost coming in at a slender 8st 12lbs with a love of lifting weights I feel so proud of myself. Time to start planning.
Oh my days: I know I should believe it but I... - Couch to 5K

Huge congratulations Flossy55! Spend the day smiling - you deserve it!
What an amazing success story-congratulations!
Congratulations Flossy55 , happy future running!
(Thanks too for your comment the other day about my not looking my age. Genes worked in my favour on that one, though it was a nuisance when I was in my teens and twenties!)
Congratulations and well done on the amazing weight loss! Life changing stuff 👍🏻
Wow 🥂
Inspirational!! Many congratulations 🎉🏆👏
This is wonderful - huge congratulations!!!! xxx
You are a superstar 🌟🌟🌟! Well done 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆.
That's so kind of you to say, but I'm just an average human being 😆
Hi Flossy55. Brilliant result, well done. Enjoy the moment 🌞.This is a great result and I am so impressed with what you have achieved. It makes it so worthwhile to have got through all the really hard parts.
I hope you enjoy your running journey from here and onwards 🏃♀️🏃♀️
Yaay! Well done Flossy, congratulations on your graduation! I came on here this evening wondering if you'd have done your final run today. I was planning to, but having arrived home form work to find dinner prepared for me, decided tomorrow it will be! 😁 x
Thank you so much. I don't blame you if never refuse a waiting dinner. Looking forward to seeing you graduate tomorrow. Xx
I so nearly didn't run today. And then I re-read this message and it gave me the boost I needed to get it done. Thank you 😊 xxx
I'm so proud of you. Sometimes it's easier to sit on the couch and forget our goals. But look at you going and smashing it out of the water. What's your next goal? Xx
Thank you so much 😊 It sure is, I can be a nightmare for procrastinating sometimes! But funnily enough, I've been talking myself into running throughout this, rather than not, quite often I've run much later than originally planned, but I have mostly run.
I'm part way though a stand for Ukraine virtual challenge at the moment, using my runs towards the total (58k). I'm now going to consolidate for 3 weeks or so, maybe more, and sign up for some more virtual challenges. I might re-do week 9 runs for the structure maybe.
In time I'd like to increase my distance, try out Parkruns and maybe try to get to 10k but that will take some doing so is a long term plan! 🤔
What are you going to do? Xxx
Well done 👏👏👏
Many, many congrats!!👏👏👏 Well done!! 👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗
Congratulations 👏 fantastic achievement all round x
Massive congratulations 🎊 great achievement 👏
What an inspiration flossy55.Congratulations 🎉🎉👍💪
Congratulations on completing C25K!
Well done Flossy55 I have myself gone on a weight loss journey during lockdown and lost 5,5 stone. I run now for pleasure and to keep the weight off which is a on going battle. Running was never a love of mine when I was young but getting out now after spending alot of time indoors and knowing there is a world still muddling through really helps with my motivation and mindset. Onwards and upwards is my motto.
Wow that's amazing... on the running and the weight loss too. You must feel amazing. I'm trying to loose a little weight too and whilst slow it's going in the right direction. I did run 1 week 7 this morning and felt OK after 25 mins so carried on to the end of the 5 min cool down thinking if I can do 30 mins it'll spur me on for the next runs this week as 25 mins will feel shorter 😜
Woohoo! Go, girl!! 👏⭐️🏅⭐️👏
Yay Flossy! That’s so exciting and what an achievement 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆.
