Pleasantly surprised how well this went today. Not as hard as I thought it would be. However groin pain! Hadn't experienced this since week one. Disappeared then after a few sessions so fingers 🤞

Well done on your progress! It is certainly not unusual to have a few niggles as a new runner .
Quite often these can be overcome with strengthening excercises, in particular core strength .
This may be useful.

Very well done to you... make sure that alongside your running, you do keep up some core strength and stamina work, on some of your rest days.
Here is a link to the March Catch-Up Corner post which is all about those sort of exercise, which may be useful for easing some of the niggles and twinges we get when we begin running:).

Slow and steady as you move on

Well done. Keeping up your stretching after your runs might help. I find pigeon pose and stretching hip flexors helped when I started getting niggles in that area.
