Having taken up C25k somewhat sceptically, I have last night completed W8R2 to a beautiful sunset.
Really pleased with the way things have progressed.
Looking ahead whilst I currently manage 28min, I would like to see a measure of distance covered as a measure of progress beyond W9 and 30 minutes of running
Any advice/tips?

Lovely photo of that sunset, not long now until you graduate, there are several apps that measure distance, pace and the time of those longer runs, Strava, Mapmyrun, Runkeeper among the better known ones, good luck for your graduation run next week.
Well done and what a sunset! I’d say spend a few weeks consolidating your 5k runs and then maybe try Ju Ju’s Magic Plan for taking it up to 10K (see pinned posts). It works and it feels like magic because a lot of us here start it being very sceptical about reaching that distance and yet we do!
Hi roadstroller , your Garmin has built-in GPS to track your running and can provide all sorts of stats. You just need to choose running as your activity.
If you have not already found it, try the Garmin Connect app on your mobile phone. This seems to produce all sorts of weird and wonderful stats, although I am not entirely convinced about how accurate they are.
Good luck, sounds like you are making great progress.
