Today I completed the third run of week 9 c25k. I'm really pleased, because even with the strong wind out there this morning, I am getting faster- gradually! Next step for me will be upping the time until I manage 5k, then a park run, then the local hilly route....thank you for this forum- it has kept me going, even though I have taken about 27 weeks to get here rather than 9 😯

Congratulations!! You do know you can still go to parkrun before you can run 5k though don’t you? I help most weeks and we welcome runners / walkers / those who mix it up. You’ll never be last as we have a tailwalker who always gets that prize so feel free to go along, run as far as you can and walk the rest. Hope you’ll give it a go.
