I have been overweight for most of my life until I was nagged into starting the C25K programme back in 2016. Having graduated, I would say that I was never healthier. Then in 2019 I broke my hip following a cycling accident and had a DHS fitted. The years of Covid lockdowns and working from home have not served me well so in 2022 I'm back to losing weight (14lbs since Jan 1) and starting C25K again - I think its easier (mentally at least) the 2nd time because I know it works! The pace has slowed down considerably but it was so good to be out again.

Welcome back and well done on your decision to start again !Enjoy
Welcome back to the forum and well done on restarting.
This guide to the plan is still essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
Enjoy your journey.
Oh well done. I’ll be repeating C25k again, as well, as we runners do when life throws us one of its many curve balls! Well done! You got this!
Well done! Hopefully it's even better second time around.
Good for you H Very best wishes on your second innings
I have just restarted, I've done this several times, every time I do it I think why had I stopped. It's good to get going again, good luck.
Welcome back! I haven’t done much running since Christmas, but starting to get back to it. I have a treadmill to use when the weather is bad, but I prefer the outdoors! Running on the treadmill can be very boring!
Keep posting your journey, the replies you get will be so encouraging and you will want to carry on!
