I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ who took time yesterday/today to offer support, tips, inspiration and motivation to me after the husbands thoughtless comment. I am completely overwhelmed. I'm looking forward to W9R1 tomorrow (on my treadmill of course) and will complete my next three runs in my dining room 😊

Once I have graduated, I will get outside and, if needs be, I will start at W1R1 and take it from there. I will succeed come what may πŸ˜€

Again, thankyou all, you are all truly wonderful.

Onwards, upwards. Never give up πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒ

Glad to hear your looking forward to week 9 !If you do get outside after graduation , I doubt you would need to go back to week 1 .

Just go out for a slow no pressure jog and see what is comfortable

Enjoy your graduation first ! 😁

Thankyou 😊. You will all hear about my graduation, that's for sure, then the following week I'll get outside and give it a try. I have nothing to lose and everything to gain. πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

You're nearly there! I don't think you need to go back to the start when you go outside. It is a different experience, but I started on a treadmill and moved outside around week 4. Got used to it quickly. It just feels slower at first but slow is good!

You won't need to start at W1R1 :-) Will just be a matter getting used to it.

Another tip: give yourself a few weeks of consolidating by doing 3x 30 minutes on your treadmill, and then try going outside. and try running for 30 minutes, regardless of distance. In fact, forget distance - just concentrate on time on your feet.

Fantastic. When you have graduated be proud of yourself and enjoy your achievement.

When you feel like a venture outside just give it a go, at your own pace. It will be a run for your own enjoyment so no need to try and break records. Just enjoy the sights and smells and if you feel like a walk to catch your breath then do just that. Your run, your rules .... just enjoy.
