Map my run issues

Has anyone had any problems with ‘Map my Run’ pausing during a run, even when auto pause is switched off? And do you know what the solution might be? It has happened for the last 2 runs and regularly does it on my walks. Very irritating but all the guidance says to turn auto pause off…it already is. 🤷‍♀️

It did happen to me several times after I installed the app onto my Smartphone, when you start a run or walk make sure that your phone is switched off, cover the phone with a proper phone wallet, since I have done that there have been no problems.

I assume you're using an Android phone? Limit the number of other apps you're running at the same time. One that always causes problems for me is using the stock camera app during a run or walk: it uses so much memory that most other apps get kicked out.

Hi nowster, no I have an iPhone 7 but will try clearing/closing all other apps and see if it works, thank you.
