I’m loving ParkRun. Last year I could not have run it. Now I can. Still a jogger-33.18…. But I’m down 3 1/2 stone, - yes I joined WW….feel better than I have done in years. Not bad for a 56 yr old menopausal woman!! So keep going folks!!!

33.18 is a respectable time for a new runner to parkrun, my first parkrun time was 34.15, that's a time most parkrun runners won't forget, the time of their first parkrun, congratulations, also well done on losing 3 1/2 stone.

Well done on your parkrun ! That's a very good time and well done on the weight loss 😁👍

C25K changes lives and opens up wonderful opportunities, such as parkrun.

Life is good. Live it.

33'18" is a great time. 👍

My local parkrun is quite hilly. (There are hillier ones out there.) If you'd had that time there you'd be coming in right in the middle of the finishing times.

A group of four teenage girls from a local netball club (according to their tops) came in around 37'45".

Paradoxically my first attempts at parkrun were my fastest. I set far too fast and ran out of steam in the last km or so, having to walk a bit.

It's still good. The only person you should be comparing yourself with is your past self. Would you have been happy having to walk that distance last year?

So true…. Last year I’d struggle to have the motivation to even walk !!
