Got out today for a slow 5k for me but did the 3k necessary in 30 mins to open up the vouchers for the Running World Cup also obtained my first donated polio vaccine. Hopefully there are more of you doing this?

Maybe “slow” for you, but epic for me!!!! Well done in getting back out there after a hiatus! That’s half the battle won! 🏆

Thank you not finding the urge to run so much but will stick at it. Good luck with your runs.

Well done you so close now you can do this. I completed C25k in March 2019 and have run since. Doing two half marathons one for charity and several 10k but mostly 5Ks I do. Stick at it take it steady and you will graduate.

I graduated in the March 2019 and ran the charity half for the hospice that both my parents passed away in March 2020. I gradually built up from the October when accepted as a runner for the hospice. I did a training half marathon on Christmas Eve so I knew I could do it and then just ran once or twice a week up to the big day. I then did a 10k in the October again for the hospice and have now raised around £2300. I started and completed C25K in nine weeks and graduating on the day after my 58th birthday and the day I was able to tell my mum before she later passed away in the hospice.

I’m so sorry for your loss! Perhaps the lack of motivation you’re feeling now is a build up and culmination of everything you’ve recently been through over this period. Be kind to yourself you’re still getting out there and have made an amazing difference to so many! Wishing you strength and healing you’ve come so far in all respects ! Keep going! 🏆💫

Thanks but no it’s been fitting it in recently as I do dog agility and judge and have been away as a result of competitions over many of the weekends through August and September so once our agility season is over I will be back regularly running.
