Running all over the world.

I have been very touched by the happy birthday and get well wishes on this site. Very touched. I've never come across a community that are so supportive and encouraging. It's renewed my faith in human nature.

We are a community of people from all over the world, of all shapes, ages and abilities, who have discovered (or re-discovered) a love a moving and all its attendant benefits (and downfalls!). And it's wonderful to read the responses to the blogs and questions and what's really amazing is when you track someone's journey from a 'Can I do this' to a 'yay - I did it!'. It's such a thrill when you first realise that you can do something that you never thought was possible and then to seeing others do it. It gives a real heart-warm.

And the best thing is knowing that you're not going through it on your own. That there is someone who's been there that can offer encouragement, and someone who's at the same stage with whom you can empathise with and someone who's aiming for what you've achieved and to whom you can pass on encouragement.

To you all - Happy Christmas and a prosperous and healthy new year.... and ... Keeeeeep running!!

V xx
