Not sure what to say, but have always been active but have been ill the past month and it's taken a lot of of me, just started walking slowly the past week and trying to build myself up to get to 5 k a day again but it's a struggle, fatigued but pushing myself.

Welcome, that regular walking you're doing is a brilliant Idea 👍, if you're planning on moving on to running at some point, perhaps take a look at the below link, it's a great source of information relating to everything couch to 5k involves.....

Good luck

Welcome back :) Well done you!

It's good to know that you are feeling better and wanting to head back to your running. The walking is a great start; but, be kind to yourself.

There is no need to push and you will find, as have many of us, that taking it gently and doing what we are able, is the way to get there.

I put a post up, which may encourage you:) I like you and many of us have had illness issues, and I decided after my blip. to repeat C25K.

Decide where you want to begin your run, start gently, keep it relaxed, and try to simply let it evolve. Some S and F work will be really useful and there are great ideas on that forum. Your body as well as your legs need building back up :)

You can do this, just take your time and enjoy:)

PS

It took me from October until last week to get back to 5K...imagine how long before I get back to my HM distance :) But then I am 71 Ha ha !!
