Tired Legs
How is your hydration?
Heavy legs can be symptomatic of poor hydration. As a runner you need to drink a minimum of 2.5 -3 litres of fluid each and every day, running or not, as stated in this FAQ post about hydration. healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
Do you do any extra strengthening exercises?
They can make a huge difference to muscle tone, response and flexibility.
Just read your post and was about to reply when I saw the response from IannodaTruffe and I would have certainly made a similar reply re hydration , 😁
I can really feel the difference when I haven't drunk enough, never even knew it was a thing before I read it on here ,just thought I was having a bad day.
Water…drink it like it’s going out of fashion..I’m sure you’ll see a difference 💦
Tired legs can also be the result of poor running form. Lots of great stuff about correct posture and leg movements on YouTube.
Thankyou for posting this question as it is something I suffer with too! I will definitely try and drink more, I need to build in the strengthening exercises too. Good luck!
