It went well as I strove to complete the C25K programme a second time. There were moments when I faltered but they were few and brief. I'm sure there's more I have gotten from these sessions but what strikes me at the moment is my ability to compartmentalize time and distance. I have a sense in my familiar routes how long it would take to get to a certain point or, given a target time interval, I can approximate which familiar landmark I would reach in that time.
I'm wary of my pace but accept these things take a lot more practice to improve. Happily, I have an idea of what the next month of outdoor running weather holds in store: a few consolidation runs alternating with the Bridge-to-10K sessions over 6 weeks comprising 18 runs.
Overall, I'm pleased that I've reached my goal of running 30 minutes non-stop in preparation for a return to my true passion, squash.
