running having gone by the way-side for me the last few weeks, my diet has suffered as well, and thus to my horror and shame, when I tried my dress on yesterday, it didn't do up all the way (most of it, but not all of it)

Thus fortified, I set out on a campaign to regain my runners mojo, start up my healthy eating again and fit completely into my dress once more (has to be said, I still rocked that dress though)

Starting yesterday, I cut out bread, pasta and junk in general, which had somehow managed their way back into my eating habits (naughty, I know. I'm full of excuses like 'I'm tired after work' 'I didn't plan anything, etc, you know the list will go on and on)

This morning I got up, pulled on my neglected running shoes, sports bra and tikiboos and set off, managing to make it from my house to the local secondary school down the street in about 15 minutes. I paused, turned, jog-walked-jogged then decided to do my own sort of interval training which involved picking a start point and a finish point then running like someone was chasing me between them - it sort of worked, I came home drenched in sweat and feeling better than I have done in weeks

Which proves that the thought of running is worse than actually going for a run.

I'm back on track and motivated again. watch this space *blows kiss*

Well done.

Build that habit now, while you are motivated and you will be fit for life and not one of these people who come back time after time, when they realise how far back they have slipped.

Healthy eating is for life, not just for Christmas 😃

Bread is fine, just don't eat too much of it

Good to see you back and on it 💪✔️🏃‍♀️

You really just have to make running a non-negotiable part of your life. Easier said than done, I know! You run 3x a week in the morning/evening/whenever. Full stop. No discussion.

I've even got my family that far, husband was planning a trip recently and said "and it looks like a good place for JC to run".

Hope the mojo stays and the bride keeps shrinking!

The mojos hide out with the Gremlins... ! Seek them out.. give the mojo a really good shake and ignore the pesky Gremlins.. they hate that!
