Starting again

Hi I have not been running for a couple of months due to illness and slight injuries, I was wondering should I start from wk 1 again? (Had reached w6). My injury was swelling and pain in back of knee but is now fine. Thanks

After a couple of months, I would recommend that you start at the beginning again and have a look at some exercises for strengthening you knees (like squats perhaps). Good luck

Great you've recovered from your injury. I would take it easy and start at week1. You'll soon know if its easy peasy or just enough compared to the first time you did it. Too easy then go to week2 etc 🙂

You need to rebuild your resistance to impact and injury gently and progressively, although you may still find that you have retained a good deal of your cardio fitness.

I recently reran C25K from the beginning after a two month break, just to be on the safe side, even though I could easily have jumped back in part way through.
