This week has been hectic and it’s not got any better, my Dad had an op so I’ve been on nursing duties builder arrived Monday two day job he said and he is still here!! And I was back in the Office for a day first time in 15 months.

I had such guilt at not running my usual days so this morning Mr Builder said he would be here at 7:30 so I was up and out at about 6 30 thinking all the time I’ve got to get back to sort him out and get washed and dressed so not my usual relaxing run, so I went too fast again.

I did enjoy it and I felt better and Mr builder has turned up at 8:30 gone to the bakers and now sat in his van having his breakfast, tried to say could he finish it next week and I said no no no !!! Fingers crossed I can have a calmer week next week as I have two days in the office!! Learning to fit it all in is a task but it’s got to be done I love this running lark.

Aw it's always the way everything piles up at once! Fab you got out this morning for a run, super early! 👏 I hope your dad is recovering soon and how lovely of your colleagues getting the balloons! 😊 I hope the return went well.

Things happen in life that stops us from doing things we want. You'll lose hardly any condition from not running for two weeks and after that any loss is gradual.

It's OK to take a break from things and running will still be here when you are ready.

Look after yourself.👍

Thanks drun very true I think I’m slightly addicted so need to lower my expectations and lockdown has been a lot of free time!

Running is addictive Wavy-chick28 even I feel disappointed if I miss a scheduled run. If you can, just run once a week until things are not so hectic and you can get back to your usual days.
