As the title says I will have completed week 3 tomorrow morning. I am so proud of myself for getting so far as I honestly thought I was going to die after my first run in week 1. But to my surprise on Monday I noticed for the first time I recovered a lot quicker than I have been doing.
However I am really nervous about starting week 4, looking at how many minutes in total there is to run. Hoping I will manage it as I so desperately want to see this through to the end.
How is everyone else coping?

I am about to finish week 4 and like you, despite having done this a while ago, was a bit worried about week 4. Yet I did it and was amazed just how good it was! The programme has already trained you to do this…you are never asked to do anything you are not ready for, honestly! Go for it and you will amaze yourself and be very proud!
I never looked at what the next run was. By the time I’d got my running gear on and had gone out, it was too late to change my mind or worry about it, I just had to get on with it!
As others have said, trust the programme. It worked for me and I was the biggest doubter ever!
Hi Iona2018, I will finish week 3 this Friday. Just did run 2 this morning. I have also noticed a big improvement in my recovery time between runs and am amazed at how quickly I am noticing an improvement in my fitness and stamina. I even felt like I had fuel in the tank left this morning after my last 3 min run. I thought I would have to be doing a really gruelling exercise regime to feel these benefits, and this programme doesn't feel gruelling to me and that's not because I am young, fit and sporty, as I'm 58, the biggest I've ever been in my life and very sedentary. I think the beauty of this programme is the gentle and gradual build up week by week. I'm very glad I decided to do it and I'm beginning believe I will be able to run for 30 mins. So in answer to your question I'm doing pretty well thanks. Sincerely wish you well on your journey. Sounds like you're doing brilliantly 👏
You're doing great! I found I worried about each new week last time I did this but the plan works. I did need to repeat a run or two as it just beat me but I got there and you will too. I found there was so much great advice and support on here that it kept me going. Good luck, you've got this!
Honestly there's nothing to be scared of, you can do it and even if you don't finish an attempt that's all each run is - an attempt. If you reframe them as attempts rather than life or death runs it's much easier when it gets a bit harder.
It took me 4 runs in w4 to get through it, each try got me s bit closer. Than was only a few days ago. Yesterday I finished W5 d3 on the first go.
