W9R2 - 4.2km covered

I wasn’t expecting to be able to run 5km by the end of the programme but I was really keen to see what distance I actually was covering and it was cooler today so I knew my pace would be a bit better. I used my FitBit to record the whole run inc warm up and down but I used Strava just to record the running portion and I was pleased to see I managed 4.2km! Hoping for 5km by the end of the consolidation runs so let’s see - one more run until graduation!

Only a small proportion of graduates from this forum who responded to a poll, managed 5k in 30 minutes by graduation healthunlocked.com/couchto5....

Graduation requirements are that you complete three thirty minute runs, regardless of distance.

Oh yes, as I said, I wasn’t expecting to do it by the end of the programme - I’ve run 5km in 30 mins many times when I was a bit younger than I am now so I’d like to work back up to it in time but I won’t do it by Sunday!
