Not too bad a jog last night despite 22 mph winds. Actually ran about 31-32 mins seeing as how the wind was behind me on the way back in. and at least my feet weren't killing me like the previous run.

So one more run (slow) jog) left. I don't feel elated. I don't feel celebratory and I'm still not addicted...But I will try and keep it up if the lighter nights don't beat me.

it was windy yesterday! Cold wind too! I was frozzen and was relived to get in a hot bath with a steaming cuppa

I hope you do find the love as there are so many positives from running. The light nights just open up many more opportunities. I just entered a midweek evening 10k race

The light nights scare me😟 more people about walking the Prom...Totally not interested in me I know but I can't help feeling really self conscious. Even more so after I saw photos of myself at parkrun in Feb. The photos were scary too 😂

It is the people who seem to struggle and push on through to the end, achieving their goal that inspire others most.

MotherPip you are an inspiration to me. Good luck with W9R3 and Graduation.

Thanks and best wishes :)

Thank you so much everyone... I think i will come to enjoying running more and when the weight drops off a bit more. I am not the most disciplined of people and it had taken me a year to lose 2 stone.. so I'm just under my 16 stone. Which still looks crap on a 5'1" old bod with dodgy knees...

So I've just took it slow depending on how the body feels..

I do feel as though i have achieved though as I never imagined i would get through the 1st run, never mind getting this far.

I only stopped in 2 runs...Not because if struggling though (though it was nice to rest) First was a threatening looking dog so i slowed, walked with hands at side and avoided eye contact and the threat passed and the 2nd time the police stopped and asked if I'd seen a little old woman who was missing... I could hardly speak lol. However keeping an eye out for her kept me distracted from thinking about the run and how long to go etc so helped...And the lady was found about 5 hours later thank God...

Anyway tonight or tomorrow may be graduation day unless the great procrastinated in me takes over.

Heading off on bikes today so it may have to wait until tomorrow lol

Sorry you're not feeling the love. But every run is helping you get fitter - that can't be a bad thing. And you can run for 30 mins. That's half an hour. Non-stop. Don't you think that's amazing? How many of your friends can say that? You may not enjoy the run, but the feeling afterwards surely makes up for it? You will graduate - but the trick is to carry on afterwards. We will be here to help you!
