Next week for W8 R2&3 I will be in a small town in Bangladesh, not the kind of place that women run on the road, and no gym treadmill options. I don't want to loose momentum and loose the stamina I am building. Suggestions and advise please

When running is not an option
Hi Shonalu👋 I'm wondering is it a safety issue or is it just that it's not common practice? Could you be a pioneer and be the first..and maybe inspire other women?
Otherwise, could you go for a walk followed by exercises? Lots on the NHS website e.g. knees- nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/k...
Can’t speak for the momentum, that’s always a funny beast, but stamina wise it won’t set you back at all. I’ve certainly gone at least 2 without any effect.
Momentum wise could try for a walk instead if that’s safe? Either that or try one of the workout videos if you need something more intense.
Doing something exercise wise is hopefully all you need and then you could pick up at Week 8 when you’re back.
You can take a week off if circumstances are difficult. You won't lose much fitness over a two week period. If you're able to do some other exercise like walking that will keep things ticking over.
I'd suggest starting week 8 afresh when you're back in a place you're comfortable running in.
Walking and any general physical fitness exercise will be beneficial.
As stated in the guide to the plan, healthunlocked.com/couchto5... you lose no significant condition in the first two weeks of non running.
After that loss of condition is gradual.
All any of us can do after a lay off is to go out and see what we can comfortably manage, then build back up gently, using C25k or something similar as a guide to weekly increase.
How much space will you have inside? I know Maddee_6333 is currently running around her living room? Is that an option for you?
