A little tip that I found helped when running.. sing! I found singing either out loud or just miming helped with my breathing, give it a try :)

What song do you sing? I've had to pause my C25K due to a knee injury and then covid, so I'm going to start again in April when I return from Seville. I got to the end of W3 previously and I think I was doing one in-breath every two steps, ie every time my left foot hit the ground - which I think is twice as fast as Denise suggested. So singing might help me slow the breathing down, I guess! 🤗

Any song that you know most of the words too x I have a little c25k playlist x it helps loads as I struggled with that in the beginning x now it’s more the heavy ness of legs 🙄 first 25 min run later so we shall see :)

Well done! I'm re-starting in April as I want to give my knee enough time to mend, and don't want to start then have to stop again when we are away. I'm so looking forward to getting back into it again! You'll graduate before I start 🤣

Must be quite hard to re-start so well done for making that step. I struggle with my lower back and had an incident a few weeks ago and it annoyed the hell out of me as put me back (excuse the pun) a few days. I feel now I’m in week 7 I won’t give up as come too far. A run this morning before the hairdressers. My biggest challenge will be running out doors x have a lovely weekend and enjoy the sun if it’s out where you are x
