My training has been pretty faultless, throughout lockdown, amazed and proud of my fitness routine π
Freedom had just about upon us and I've booked long awaited visits with my family in Glasgow.. only 3 nights and I'm promised a 5K run with my daughter π
But drinks will invenibily be involved..π at some point.. which will lead to a a day or so off running/strength training..
I'm looking forward to it..even having a few days off..
But...I know I will feel guilty π
I suppose I'm actually posting for some kinda forgiveness π

Hope you have a great time with your family Caroline, just put your running on hold, it will still be there when you get back, hope your scan results were ok? πββοΈππ
Perhaps it's worth remembering why you're getting fit and healthy? If your body is firing on all cylinders, then it'll take a few drinks in stride.
I assume you do have days off regardless? If you don't you're at risk of overtraining, and at best you'll get suboptimal results. Two days of being a slob will do you some good
Life is for living. Training is a means to an end, not the end in itself.
Life is for living.... not just working out. Spend the time with family, drink the drinks, eat the food and laugh and celebrate life in itβs entirety. You deserve it! β₯οΈ
