W5R2 - In the bag!

Yesterday, I completed W5R2 in very cold and windy conditions and I was running into the wind which made it even harder. Having completed this now, tomorrow I will be tackling W5R3 which many others have worried about doing. I know I can do it as long as I go slow and think about it in five-minute bursts rather than one non-stop 20-minute run. It is definitely a mental game. Good luck to all those tackling this run this week. WE CAN DO IT!!!

Great attitude. I completed run 2 week 5 this morning - really enjoyed it. Superb start to the day. The first 8 minutes took a while to get my pace sorted, but the second was much better. Think I tend to 'bounce off' to start. Nice work - as you say 'WE CAN DO THIS!'Have a good day 😀

Thanks, Ellio39, well done on your 2nd run of week 5. I found the same, it took my first 8 mins to get into a suitable pace but by the second 8 mins, I think I cracked it. We've got this! 😀

You've got this! I kept myself going thinking about how amazing it was going to feel afterwards, having run the longest block in my adult life.

Yes Devon_straggler, it will the longest run of my adult life too. But I'm not worried. We can go all the way! 👍

Hey fellow week 5er 👋 i did week 5 run 1 yesterday so I'm just behind you. I really enjoyed it, excited about run 2 and 3 now 😁 I'm so pleased I started after being unsure whether to or not and now being 1/2 way through the plan I'm really chuffed with myself.

Good luck with run number 3 be sure to come back and let us know how you get on. I'll be cheering you on from the sidelines!
