No issues at all, second running segment was slower than the first but no problem. Looking forward to the next one and beyond! This program is amazing, when I think back to week one and how long those 60 second runs seemed and compare it to what I’m achieving now it’s truly astonishing. If I can do this any one can do this πŸ‘

So glad you’re enjoying c25k and well done for completing w5r2πŸ‘Just remember to drink lots of water and take it steady for your next run. It’s amazing how quickly this running malarkey becomes addictive 😁

Great running Rigpig. Being slower is good and will get you through the longer runs. Well done you 😊

So, is it the programme that's amazing, or you?πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Bit of both I suspect :-) I am genuinely astonished at how this program can change you and your expectations in such a short time though. Used in conjunction with this forum it's a truly remarkable thing and I wish I could get everybody I know to give it a go :-)

Tomorrow is week 5 run 3. I cannot believe I will manage a straight 20 min run seems a huge leap from 2 x 8 mins !!

Still 5 weeks ago at the age of 61 was the first time I have β€œrun” so anything is a bonus ... we will give it our best shot !!

Im exactly the same, couldnt run to catch a bus 5 weeks ago let alone a minute without struggling. Wk5 run 3 will be happening tomorrow hmmmm 20mins non stop sounds terrifying to me but so did 8mins.

Just keep smiling and running I say, well done and good luck

Well done! I'm also at exactly the same point so 20 mins tomorrow! I usually run at our nearest park, but as it is rather hilly I'm going to a park a bit further away which is totally flat, to hopefully give me a better chance!

Might just as well run horizontally rather than up and down. No extra points for altitude. I found that a different route worked wonders, even if it was only the usual one backwards. Enjoy your flatter run. Up and down is good for building endurance - later. Twenty minutes gives your breath chance to sort it self out as you jog along at conversational speed. Now you are getting quite good at this - you runner you!
