Well, after a week of delays due to groin niggles and headaches, Iβve finally completed Week 9 Run 3!
Whoop! π₯³π₯π»πββοΈπ
Managed 4.3km, which Iβm quite pleased with. Iβve done all my runs on trails and todayβs trail had 14 gates, 3 hills, a flock of little lambs and some fairly big rabbit holes to navigate around. My consolidation aim is to see whether I can achieve 5km in 30 minutes. Itβs nice to have a fresh challenge and a new aim!
Thanks to everyone here for posting and sharing your stories, itβs been great to be involved in this little community and to hear of all your successes.
Now to the consolidation club!
Onwards and forwards, everyone πββοΈ

Many congratulations on your graduation, fellow runner.
Our definition of consolidation on this forum is to stick at 30mins/5k (whichever you achieve during the plan) for a while, until that is comfortable, BEFORE increasing duration or working on speed.

Thanks very much IannodaTruffle for the guidance and advice! Yup, good point, Iβll be sure to consolidate properly as you say before adding in any additional challenges around speed or distance.
