Apologises for the late update couldn’t post for some reason

Yesterday after struggling with the 3 min runs to start with I’m proud to say I done the 20min run

Breathing was ok but got shin splints after the first 10 horrid mins, I say horrid as that was the hardest part but kept going and finished the 20mins

I never though I’d have been able to complete that run but with but with support on here and the advice it was more a mental challenge proved correct

Easiest way for me was getting to 5mins then 10 thinking half way keep going , then at 15 I knew I could do it which gave me the push I needed

I even managed my fastest mile at 10.54 mins which may have been something to do with the dog chasing me hahahaha

It wasn’t easy but I done it and thank you all for your support

Well done, that is the first real run under your belt. Enjoy the emotion of achieving that milestone!!!!

But be aware that many of us found W6R 1 & 2 challenging as you go back to walking breaks.

But despite the jump to a non-stop 25 mins. If taken with the same mindset as W5R3, you shouldn’t have any problems.
