Having developed a blister the size of a 50p, I am having the noted rest day - I am feeling a bit flat about that but, I am sure I will benefit as of tomorrow. Breaking in new trainers as well as new habits.... 3lbs down this week though - only 25lbs to go....

Sorry to hear about your blister. I haven’t had that problem so can’t advise how to deal with it. I had a black toenail once. That made me feel like a real runner 😁 Please don’t feel disheartened, sometimes we have to be sensible and sit on the Injury Couch til we are good to go again.

Ah thats kind. Black toenail... well I paint mine black anyway so...you never know what lurks beneath!! Back on it tomorrow!!! Fingers crossed.

Have a great run tomorrow. Hope it’s enjoyable. I love the ‘running is the opposite to drinking’ theory. You feel terrible while you’re doing it, but great afterwards.
