This felt like a big step up from the 8 min runs of the last run. I basically ran there and back through a V, so it was uphill at the end. I felt like I was barely moving at the end, but I was still running! Will probably go back to more level running next week, but I think the elevation changes are good for me.

W5R3 done!
Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.
W5R3 is actually your shortest overall workout since W3..... so not a huge step up physically but definitely psychologically.
Stay nice and slow for the next run it catches out more people than any other run in the programme.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
Enjoy your journey.
Brilliant Sweigum that’s a big milestone. Keep following the advice, you got this. Hope you are feeling very pleased.
Well done, that's the first real run under your belt. I know that end of run feeling, which ever route I use, to end up a five minute walk home I have long inclines at the ends of my runs.
Enjoy the buzz from doing that 20 minute non-stop run. But be aware the W6R 1 & 2 catch many of us out a little.
Good luck
