I think the fluctuating weather was all building me up for today. Sun, rain, hail and of course, my nemesis, the wind. I wouldn't mind but it's calmer outside as I write.
There was sun at the start, just after a hail storm. I thought I'd lucked out and hit a lull. The wind was up though.. needless to say as soon as warm up was done, the rain started. At the halfway mark, it turned back into hail and hailed for most of the trip back with the wind in my face. A definite struggle, but my only thoughts on it were that I was finishing it, no matter what. At halfway I was noticeably further on than Wednesday, so I speed up again at the end and kept my walk brisk in cool down to get past the 4K mark this time. Success!
Looking forward to next week!

👏🏻👏🏻 Gotta love a bit of weather. I had all the seasons today too Well done on wk 8 run 3, the finish line is in sight! I start 8 on Sunday, going to be tough, I'm sure!
Thanks! Honestly, you'll be fine. The program makes you ready. In truth I ran further on W7R3 than W8R1 even with the extra minutes. I just slowed my pace to make it.
Thanks! I have a feeling that is exactly what I will do. That's how this week panned out. Slow, slow, slow on run 1, bit better run 2 and best distance run 3. I look forward to seeing you graduate next week!! 🏆
Great perseverance, well done! I’m a bit weird, in that the worse the weather, the more I enjoy the run but I appreciate that hail and wind in your face may not be for everyone!
I’d say good luck for the final week but you don’t need it, you’ve got this 💪🏻
