If you look at the training times for week 5 run 2 and also week 5 run 3 you will see that run 3 is 1 minute less !Total training time of course includes brisk walks between runs.

Just take it slowly and you will be fine , you will see .

Remember, the program has prepared you for this 😁👍

I usually do my runs on alternative days & I run on a empty stomach as I drink lots of water in the a.ms I find it rewarding coming back showering & having food post run should I do the same this a.m or have a banana prior to heading out 🤷‍♀️

I used to do the same on C25k , most of my runs were around 6am and I only had a cup of tea when I got up and a small glass of water before leaving the door .My banana was my first thing on return , followed by more water before breakfast.

I know a few who have a half banana before going out 😁

I have also done 5 and 10k's on an empty stomach 😁

Yeah I done it!! I have a habit or wearing too much clothing & over heating just wore a tee on this run & surprisingly didn’t over heat. Never in my adult years have I been able to function on March 18th never mind Run for 20mts 😃

well done, W5R3 I found a real breakthrough in terms of confidence. I am doing W6R2 tomorrow building up to 25 minutes Sunday. I know its going to be hard, but I know I can do it. You will too!

Concentrate on your pace to ensure you keep your breathing rate down enough that you are able to talk without gasping and you’ll be fine.

Be warned, just when you think you've been running for ages the app will tell you you've run five minutes!

Good luck.

Today I thought that exactly!!! I thought I was running for much longer & then Jo Whiley broke me 🤣

It's probably the most enjoyable run of the whole lot. You can do it, just keep reminding yourself. And then do the same for W6R1 which looks easier, but is a little harder. You'll be so elated at the end of this run though!

Yes I was thinking of repeating this run Saturday to give me more confidence for wk 6

Well done. But make the most of the rest. For many of us week 6 seems harder.
