Friday is running day for me, since it’s my day off - but top priorities for today were a long lie-in, and getting new tyres for the car! Once all that was sorted though, the sky was a beautiful blue with only a few wispy clouds, so off I trundled for another wonderfully uneventful run
I decided to head the ‘other way’ out of the village - it’s nice to alternate routes, and this isn’t a great one to do in the dark due to the barely twisty lanes and lack of footpath for most of it. And alternating like this means I’ll know when I get close to reaching the same point from both directions and can start doing a nice circuit
The last five minutes I definitely had rather tired legs, but not so much that I felt the need to stop - I’m too stubborn for that! - and the second half of it was a nice downhill then levelling off. This is definitely the best place I’ve lived in terms of nice running routes; ok so I have to deal with uphills at the start, but whichever way round I go, there’s a downhill at the end 😄
So one more run to go this week, then that’ll. be week 4 done! Eek!
