It won't be as long as you might think. I graduated just over 3 months ago and have not been going flat out to get to this stage. Another 2 months of practice and I should get to a slow 10K.
I was only going to do 60 minutes but I had gone further than I had expected, so I just carried an a few minutes to get past 7K. One day I might get a bit quicker, if not younger!,Get well soon,
I covered 6km for mine...so I’m impressed with your pace 😉
I can see you quite easily reaching 10km within a couple of months...you may find it a little weird to focus on distance, not time, though! To know the plan is to run ‘x’ km...but it doesn’t matter how long it takes you 😊
Congratulations on completing your first 60 minutes run, go to the B210K forum and tell the administrators that you have ran for 60 minutes, then you will see the words 60minGraduate next to your username.
Fantastic Rennur, well done. I think that’s definitely worth a couple of shortbreads! I’m a week behind you, just starting the last week of Ju Ju’s plan. I’m setting off now for the 30mins run, then 20 mins on Wednesday, then hopefully 60 on Saturday. And.... yes the custard slice is now in the window awaiting my return! Congratulations...
Amazing Rennur! What an achievement! Can I ask are you following a plan to get from 5-10K? Not that I’m even thinking of that at the moment but I’d like to consider it one day. Well done xxx
I am sort of doing Ju Jus Magic Plan on Bridge to 10k. First I did about 10 Consolidation runs, next I got to 60 minutes in about 10 weeks and then following the Plan to 10K from Week 3 (so essentially repeating last week) except I am taking it slower than the 5 remaining weeks in that Plan - more like 8-9 weeks. Look up the Bridge to 10k pinned posts. Have fun.
