Wk6 R2 and thought I'd treat myself to a morning off work and a run in the sunshine. The dogs got the early morning walk so I ended up running about lunchtime when tide was lower. Where has all this heat come from...? I'm used to running in the dark with freezing cold wind. I thought I had dressed appropriately in shorts and light T-shirt but was still so warm. Heaven knows what I'll do in the summer, run at 2am probably !! Two thoughts then hit me, one - I'm taking time off work to run and two, I'm talking about running in the summer - oh gawd I think I've got it bad! Hopefully lockdown will end and my sanity will return! Despite warmth, which I'm sure I'll adjust to, run went well. Was great to get a lot of friendly smiles and hellos, especially from other runners (that is if I'm allowed to call myself a runner yet?), although felt I needed to keep the volume down on the singing :-)
