So I was very dubious of being able to complete this one. I have completed the first 3 weeks but had my reservations and even thought that perhaps I should do another Week 3 again. So really pleased that I decided to challenge and managed to complete Week 4 Run 1 this morning! Just want to the next one now to make sure this morning wasn't a fluke! 😄

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

I recommend that you follow the link in the guide to the post about mental approach.......belief is all.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.

It wasn't a fluke. Just do the same thing again! Well done. Week 4 was the sneaky one for me!

I'm about to start Week 4 and a bit nervous about another step up. I did a 4th run of Week 3 today as it had been 3 days since the last run and I'd had the weekend in between, so felt I shouldn't challenge myself too much by starting W4! Am planning on starting it once I've had my rest day though.
