How did it go? I’m like you - not a runner - but I love it now! It’s such a brilliant programme and all the advice and support on here is fab. Let us know how it’s gone! X

Hey, I'm sorry for the slow reply, I forgot to come back and check. I have just completed my 3rd day and honestly loving it. Struggled on 2 and 3 from run 4 onwards but dug deep and finished. I feel so much better and sleeping better too!! Thank you for the encouragement ♡♡ how are you doing? X

That’s good news! I’m loving it still. Run 3 wk4 this morning. Chugged along and again felt wonderful when I finished. I feel positive about life! It’s made a massive difference to how I’m feeling - think my partner thinks I’m having an affair I’m so cheerful! I’m not looking at what wk5 has in store I prefer to remain ignorant otherwise I’ll give up before I head out! Good luck with wk2! X

Welcome to the forum and well done on your decision.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.

Like you I am not a runner... well I wasn't before the C25k programme! It's great! Just take it slow and steady, its about building stamina not speed. I try not to look at the numbers too much. Good luck and enjoy it!

Hope it went well! I’ve been Not a Runner for the past seven years and more, but I keep coming back to it. I’m never going to win races, but I don’t care. It’s the fun and the endorphins which keep luring me back 😉

Definitely! I’m on to week 2 now - but this at least my sixth time starting the plan and I’ve graduated at least three times over the years... this is going to be one where I complete it, I’m determined!
