Has anyone else had Covid-19 and can give advice on returning to running? I had the vaccination and did not realise until 2 days later that I also had Covid19. I am in my 5th week of suffering from exhaustion. I know I can’t run yet but wondered his others have managed.

Yes, I had Covid in November, and felt terribly tired - more tired than I've ever felt in my life! Once I felt absolutely positively that I had energy back I started walking and then started again from week 6 I think and was back to doing 5k again by end of January - do take it very easy though!

I got it in September, recovered from the worst of it within about 5 days (mild version) but it left me exhausted for about 2 months. Was able to get back to running taking it nice and easy after about 2 weeks though, but be very aware of the tiredness...

I’ve just had it. It’s wiped me out for 2 weeks. I’m about 10 days from the end of isolation now. I did a couple of walks first to check out my breathing then decided I felt able to run. I began at week 1 of C25K but with run 3. I have been going soooo slowly but have managed ok and it was sooooo good to be out. I’ve continued to do the run 3 run of each week ( I’m on W4 R3 today) and so far so good. Just take it easy and pace yourself. everyone is different. I did a load of cleaning yesterday and that wiped me out more than running 😂. Lots of rest days too. Hope you feel better soon and get your running legs (and lungs) back.
