Didn't do w2r3 on Fri but managed to fit it in on Sunday, just done run 1 of week 3 & running for 3 mins was easier than I thought it would be.... yay, usually get back to my front door just as 5 min warm down walk finishes but didn't today, wasn't far off though so I ran the last bit....a little extra has to be a good thing right?

Well done.
A little extra may well be a good thing as long as you don't overdo it.
C25k works just fine out of the box.
When I say a little I'm talking 100 meters at most!!
That should be fine.
Some people become very impatient and start adding considerable chunks of time to the planned runs and while injury is not always the outcome, the risk is increased. Best to let the well structured programme build your strength and stamina alongside your resistance to impact and injury.
