So welcome along Emma,
Without wishing to overwhelm you with information, below are a few links, the first is so important, have a read it's all about C25k it includes advice on stretching before and after running, advice on staying hydrated and lots more.
I've thrown a couple of links for online gait analysis, but for those first few runs, if you've trainers that fit and are comfortable go with them 👍

As a beginner, anything comfortable and not too pricey. You can't go far wrong with something SportsDirect - the Karrimor brand or New Balance.
No need to spend more than £50 at this stage. Go for comfort and make sure to go at least 0.5 or 1 size up from your normal day shoe.
Try LOTS on
Hi great to hear you are joining us. Hope you enjoy the journey.I started in some Lidl/Aldi running shoes which were amazing for £14.99, but never seen them again. I stuck with them until I progressed through the weeks and then splashed out for a new pair on my birthday. I plucked up courage and went into proper running shop, in Madrid! They were lovely and very understanding. I went on a treadmill and was offered 3 different choices. I got Brooks Adrenaline. Not cheap but I have wide feet and they fit like a glove/slipper. I have managed to find 2 more pairs on ebay back in UK, which people had bought but never used, for 1/3 of new price so bought them quickly. You can take the girl out if Yorkshire but ..... 😉Trust the app. Stick to it. You CAN do it.

Don't pay too much attention to other people's recommendations...........what is perfect for them may be wholly unsuitable for you.
