I am so angry at myself. After three runs a week for three weeks in the cold and rain..Last week I was due to start week four but Scotland had quite a bit of snow which very quickly turned to ice. I tried to do my warm up walk and even that nearly fell multiple times so I thought it best not to do it. Only this morning it looks like all the ice has melted away. I'm so annoyed my couch to 5k now won't have this flow and what is week 4 should now be week 5... I feel a week behind. Has anything like this ever happened to anyone else? and if so do you just continue with week 4 as normal? or Should I do an additional day from week 3 this week before resuming as normal to week 4?

Don't be angry.........it is not good for your blood pressure. As stated in the guide to the plan, healthunlocked.com/couchto5... you lose no significant condition in the first two weeks of non running.
After that loss of condition is gradual.
All any of us can do after a lay off is to go out and see what we can comfortably manage, then build back up gently, using C25k or something similar as a guide to weekly increase.
Slow your anger roll down!! This was out of your control and to keep safe you did the best thing. I personally would start from where you left off, whatever that looks like.
Get back on it and do not worry about the things you cannot control.. 👍👍👍
It has taken me 2 months so far to do the first 4 weeks of C25k due to various leg injuries. But I don't think it really matters - I'd like to run long-term, so who cares if it takes me 9 weeks or 9 months to get there? After just 1 week off you should be ok to continue off from where you are. You're not a week behind, you're 3 weeks ahead of where you would have been had you never put your trainers on Just go out there and enjoy it!
I think you were wise not to go out with all the ice about. Jeremy Hunt probably wishes it to - he broke his arm while out last week. It may have been good to have rest if you had any niggles. I hope you did your strength and flex whilst not running! If you didn't, never mind. One week is nothing. It shows how keen you are and that's what's important.
confession - I don't do them religiously, but I do some stretches and strength exercises - if not all those on the programme (some of those are very easy) - about twice a week and I often find myself doing a stretch of some sort during the day even if it is just ankles! (especially the day after a run - if only to ease those muscles. )
I did the same by not running for a week and felt like I was behind, but you aren't you aren't racing against anyone and the app doesn't know that it's not only been 2 days it just tells you what the next run in the challenge is just pick up the next run you were supposed to do and carry on as usual from there. Life happens sometimes and we are only human ☺️
