My first post! I've just done W6R1 which feels like a huge achievement for me - this is my third attempt at C25K and I never managed to get beyond week 5 before. I'm feeling so much more motivated this time, and am actually starting to think I might be able to do this!

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

Keep posting and we will keep you running.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.

Thank you! I have read the guide and it's really helped - especially the bit about slowing down! Running slower means that I'm actually enjoying the run and not finding it a slog.

Well done and btw brilliant achievement 💪 you'll smash this just keep going 👍
