Today, I did 4.3K on my Bridge to 60 minutes/10K.

It wasn't "toxic" it was just slow! Probably my slowest 30 minute split.

When I finished I felt as if hadn't done much. I clearly ran within myself, but just couldn't go very fast.

Just to let everyone know, some runs are just worse than others. I can think of several reasons that may have had an effect, but it was just one of those runs. My 50 minute on Friday was faster than I thought. Today was definitely as slow as I thought!

It could say it was my worst run - but that would have been the one where I stayed on the couch - and that one is still yet to happen!

It took 41 minutes - nearly late for dinner/tea/supper (delete as geographically/demographically appropriate). Now that would have been a disastrous run! I'll have to cook a good dinner tomorrow for the family to make up for it!

You are so right, even a bad run is a run! It's maybe not a pleasant run, but it's at least not sitting on the couch and that is important. You can also always shorten a run if it's really terrible, following your body. But at least you would have been out there. You just bit through it all and ran it fully, a neat feat! On to a better run next time!

There's no such thing as a 'bad' run. As Coach Bennett would say 'every run is an opportunity to learn' and 'you did the run you could'. Onwards .... (I ❤️ Coach Bennett!). 😀
