I’m not sure if it’s because I’m not a natural runner, or never really put that much effort into it, but I completed the very daunting last run of week 5 last night. To say I was amazed to get through it is a bit of an understatement and got slightly emotional about the whole thing near the end (embarrassingly) when I realised I was actually going to do it.
I was questioning why much a big jump from the previous run, but the programme seems to have got me prepared for it. 😀

Well done! W5d3 is such a milestone run in the programme. I totally understand the emotional feeling at the end. You’re gonna feel epic all day - enjoy that feeling! Congrats 🤩🤩🤩🥳🥳.
Also.... w6d1... you think you can run the world after the 20 minute run and you go back to intervals. Just keep it slow!
I’m sure you will, it is a milestone to be proud of; I found pacing myself was the key. Finishing W5 has been a great motivator for the weeks to come and I’m sure you’ll feel the same 👍🏃♂️
Well done it’s a fab feeling isn’t it? I got a bit emosh running in week 3, I don’t know why, just couldn’t believe I was doing it! This programme is totally the dog’s wotsits isn’t it?! 👏
It certainly is. I decided to start running in November to get myself in better shape, given my advancing years, and find some distraction from the situation we all find ourselves in. My trips out were all a bit hit and miss though with no real progression but found the C25k App really put some structure to it and is obviously working for me.
