First consolidation run completed! I was feeling under the weather at the beginning of the week so thought its best to recover and start the week on Wed instead. Ive used NRC app for the first time and my thoughts after 30min guided run are:

I liked that coach talkes to you every 2min and asks the question to give you something to think about for the time in between, the run has gone so fast, i didnt even notice when 30min was up.

Im not sure if I'm into the mindful running yet but maybe it takes time to convert😂, its a bit of a change from Jo!

When i finished my usual route the app read 2.84km which was pretty disappointing as the other apps usually record around 4.8km on my regular route, i did faff with phone mid way though so i hope this is a glitch and not true reflection of my run.😱

Anyone else had the same experience? Give me some hope people🤣

Anyway, im giving it another go on Friday, we shall see!

I use the NRC app and have done since saying goodbye to Jo, it is different but I like Coach Bennett’s words of encouragement etc. I have two regular routes I use and the distance NRC records is normally quite accurate, I wear a Fitbit too, to compare both.

I think in your case, if it read 2.84 instead of your average 4.8, it was probably a glitch, so don’t worry about it. Next time maybe choose one of the NRC 5k runs, there are two on there and they’re both good 👍

Well done NusiaFab! It sounds as though your phone glitched, so don’t be downhearted! I keep toying with the NRC app and have my eye on the 35 min run which I think I’ll have a go at next week. Can’t seem to break away from Michael J quite yet - but I know the time is coming when I’ll need to say 👋 goodbye. Anyway, many congratulations on your first CR! It’s brilliant isn’t it. 👍🏃‍♀️👏🏼

Thank you Imc50! Will be experimenting with NRC for now as it seemed to have worked for many people here😊
